Service Description
The American Red Cross Adult (CPR/AED) course is a hands-on training program designed to teach participants how to recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults, providing skills and knowledge needed to perform high-quality CPR and use of an AED effectively and confidently. Participants will learn the following: - Recognize signs of cardiac arrest and choking in adults - How to perform chest compressions and rescue breaths - Use of an AED effectively and safely - Steps to ensure personal safety and scene assessment The course will include an online portion as well as classroom instruction and practical, hands-on skill sessions. Upon successful completion, participants receive a nationally recognized Red Cross certification, valid for two years.
