Service Description
The CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers course is designed to train professional rescuers and healthcare providers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. This course emphasizes the skills required for emergency response in professional settings, including high-quality CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), ventilations with resuscitations masks and bag-valve-masks (BVMs), and two-rescuer response techniques Participants will learn the following: CPR for adults, children, and infants Two-rescuer CPR techniques Use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) Ventilations with resuscitation masks and bag-valve-masks (BVMs) Responding to breathing and choking emergencies Team-based response for cardiac and breathing emergencies **The course will include an online portion as well as classroom instruction and practical, hands-on skill sessions. Upon successful completion, participants receive a nationally recognized Red Cross certification, valid for two years.**
