Service Description
The Red Cross Pediatric CPR/AED course is designed to equip participants with skills and confidence to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies involving infants and children. Whether a parent, caregiver, teacher, childcare provider, or simply someone who wants to be prepared, this course provides essential lifesaving training. Participants will learn the following: Recognize and respond to cardiac arrest, breathing emergencies, and choking in infants and children How to perform CPR with proper chest compressions and rescue breaths for infants and children How to use an AED safely and effectively on pediatric patients The importance of prevention, early recognition, and prompt action **The course will include an online portion as well as classroom instruction and practical, hands-on skill sessions. Upon successful completion, participants receive a nationally recognized Red Cross certification, valid for two years.**
